FAQ
Short answers about how the market works before you post or buy.
What is the difference between buying a service and posting a project?
A service has a set price and delivery time. It fits work you already understand, such as a logo, an article, or a photo session. An open project fits work whose scope is still open: you describe the need and the budget, then freelancers send offers.
Do I need an account before writing the project?
No. Write the description and the budget first. You create the account in the last step so offers can reach your email and phone.
How does escrow work?
When you accept an offer, the amount is held and is not transferred to the freelancer. After delivery you have time to review. If you approve, the amount is released after Forus’s commission. If the work does not match what you agreed, a review opens before any transfer.
What does the verification mark mean?
A phone mark means the number received a code and confirmed it. An identity mark means a freelancer in Kuwait showed a Civil ID, or a GCC freelancer showed a current national ID, and the details matched the name on the profile. The mark does not mean Forus guarantees the quality of every design file.
What are the fees?
Posting a project is free. Buying a service adds a 5% buyer fee, and a 12% commission is deducted from the freelancer when the amount is released. The figures are shown before you confirm, on the pricing page, and they are the fee table used in this interface.
Which currency are prices in?
Prices are stored in Kuwaiti dinars. You can display them in Saudi riyals, dirhams, or dollars. Filters on the services page stay in dinars so a limit is not mixed with an exchange rate.
What if we disagree about delivery?
Both sides write what was agreed and what arrived. Forus reviews the description, the offer, and the files during business days, then either asks for a specific revision, releases the amount, or returns it according to the record. Details are on the How Forus works page.
Does payment work now?
The KNET, Apple Pay, mada, Benefit, and card surfaces are on screen until a payment provider is connected. Nothing is charged from these pages.
